The Muckross Suite
This suite is named after the spectacular 19th century Muckross House and Gardens in The Killarney National Park. This is the largest meeting room space in the conference centre. The Muckross Suite has a floor space of 905 square metres with a purpose built stage area and can be divided into 3 separate spaces if required. The room has great flexibility, including vehicular access points for car launches, and direct access to both the lobby and foyer. Built-in partitions allow the room to be quickly divided into three sections, ideal for breakout facilities and exhibitions. The main area of Muckross Suite (619 square metres) has no pillars, giving unobstructed views of the stage.
The Muckross Suite Foyer
The foyer was designed as an impressive and spacious receiving room to the conference centre. Floor-to-ceiling walls of windows curve graciously up to high vaulted ceilings, flooding the entire area with natural light. Guests can enjoy views over the hotel gardens and fountains, with glass doors leading directly onto the lawn. Covering 243 square metres, this area provides great flexibility, with plenty of room for exhibitions, as well as refreshments for delegates as they mingle and network during break times.
The Muckross Suite Lobby
The bright, airy feeling of the foyer continues into the lobby, where natural daylight gives the area a bright and fresh atmosphere. Providing another spacious location for registrations or exhibitions, this 255 square metre area also incorporates a bar. WIFI access means delegates can conveniently check email and conduct their business while on break.
The Mangerton Theatre
This auditorium was named after the Mangerton Mountain range in Co.Kerry. With comfortable fixed seating for 225 people in sloping theatre style, the Mangerton Theatre is a very impressive auditorium offering unobstructed views of the speaker and main screen. This room is equipped with state-of-the-art data projector, screen and sound system. At the rear of the room there is a separate sound room if required and wooden shutters provide excellent and tasteful blackout facilities, which can easily be opened for question and answer sessions. The Mangerton Theatre provides a very impressive venue for any presentation or seminar.
The Press Room
The Press Room is a spacious meeting room located in the conference centre and is the perfect location to set up an office or breakout room.
For a board meeting or break out sessions during your conference, the hotel has 4 dedicated meeting rooms adjacent to the Business Centre in the main hotel building, namely Malton Room, Victorian Room, Writers Room and Lower Lake Room. Boardrooms are easily linked to the Conference Centre through a fully enclosed glass hallway. All four meeting rooms are designed for comfort, with air-conditioning, audio visual aids and WIFI access.
- Malton Room - Named after the famous 18th century artist James Malton.
- Lower Lake Room – a tribute to the beautiful and renowned Lakes of Killarney.
- Writers Room - A tribute to the many writers and novelists from Co. Kerry.
- Victorian Room - The Malton was built in 1854, the Victorian era of the mid 19th Century.
