Painting Holidays in Killarney in association with The Malton.

Perhaps you have always fancied yourself as a bit of Picasso, or maybe Rembrandt is more your style? Whatever your current skill level, local artist Tina Reed would be delighted to help you improve your painting skills!

Painting classes are very small groups (3 to 6 people) which allows for a high level of personal attention where ideas and inspiration can be shared with like-minded people. The aim is to give you all the tutoring you need in a friendly environment where students help each other and enjoy themselves.

Killarney has plenty to offer a non-painting partner or family member whatever their age or interests from sightseeing to shopping, eating out, or golfing, Killarney has it all in abundance! Not to mention the outstanding natural beauty of the Killarney National Park where it is possible to wyle away the hours in peace and tranquility.

Tina Reed has over 20 years experience as an artist, covering various disciplines. She started out in the fashion business, with a degree from Leeds University England, in textile-design. Having worked for several years as a free-lance print designer, Tina travelled to the US & spent 5 years in the San Francisco area, painting murals, & so called ‘faux’ marble & wood effects.

Tina then spent 5 years in London’s West End, back in the rag-trade, before coming over to Killarney in 2000. She carried out commissioned pieces both privately and for some of the larger hotels & guesthouses, whilst running art & craft, and oil-painting classes locally.

Tina sells her paintings in local galleries & from her studio and there are many to be viewed on this website. If you would like to see some more of Tina’s paintings then click on the link below.
