Children can play in our beautiful gardens including an outdoor playground, two tennis courts and take part in our Halloween Family Fun Programme with a host of fun activities at Malty’s Squirrels Club.

There is something for everyone at The Malton this Halloween; take a plunge in the pool, enjoy a stroll in our 6 acres of private gardens, treat yourself to our Autumn Beauty Treatments at the Innisfallen Health & Beauty Rooms or take in some of the beautiful scenery of Killarney National Park just a few minutes walk from the front steps of our hotel.

Friday, 26th October

6.30pm – 8pm: Spooky Halloween Short Stories of Goblins, Ghosts and Witches as well as the classics, Hansel and Gretel and The Legend of Sleepy Hollow.

8pm – 9.30pm: Children’s Halloween Movie

Saturday, 27th October

4pm – 5pm: Jaunting Car Trip around The Malton gardens

6.30pm – 9.30pm: Halloween Party Games: Musical Zombies

Sunday, 28th October

4.30pm – 5.30pm: Supervised Water Activities in the Innisfallen Pool

6.30pm – 9.30pm: Halloween Party Games: Witches Hat Ring Toss

Monday, 29th October

10am – 12noon: Halloween Mask Making

4pm – 6pm: All on board The Malton Ghost Tour Bus, we have hired exclusively The Killarney Ghost Tour Bus to take you on a journey to see and hear some of Killarney’s legends and stories that will leave you shaking in your boots! (There is limited availability on the bus; seats can be booked on check-in at the hotel, children to be accompanied by adults).

6.30pm – 9.30pm: Supervised Playroom

Tuesday, 30th October

11.00am: Get your runners on for the Egg & Spoon Race with Malty, which will take place in the gardens weather permitting! There will be prizes for different age categories so we hope to see you there.

4.30pm – 5.30pm: Supervised Water Activities in the Innisfallen Pool

6.30pm – 9.30pm: Halloween Party Games: Pass the Pumpkins

Wednesday, 31st October – Halloween Night

10am – 12.00noon: Join in the fun of Halloween Arts & Crafts followed by a Halloween Spider Hunt Competition with Malty in the Gardens, find a hidden spider and claim a prize!

6.30pm – 7.30pm: Halloween Fancy Dress Competition, great prizes for the most creative outfits.

7.30pm – 9.30pm: Malty’s Trick or Treat Trail around the hotel with the Merciless Malton Witch.  Enjoy lots of Malton goodies, followed by disco.

Thursday, 1st November

10.00am – 12.00noon: Nature Trail in The Malton gardens, weather permitting!

6.30pm – 7.30pm: Big Chef Little Chef

7.30pm – 9.30pm: Supervised Playroom

Friday, 2nd November

10.00am – 12.00noon: Take a trip around our gardens in a Traditional Jaunting Car followed by Supervised Playroom

1.00pm: Treasure Hunt with Malty in the Gardens – we won’t mention the weather!

6.30pm – 9.30pm: Children’s Halloween Movie

Saturday, 3rd November

10.00am – 12.00noon:  Supervised Playroom. Get your Picture taken with Malty!
