The first ever Taste of Killarney event will take place in the gardens of The Malton on 28th – 31st July, 2011. Taste of Killarney promises to be the ultimate showcase of local produce from the South West, it will also feature a host of international brands, local restaurants and exciting bars which visitors can dip in and out of throughout the day.
Some of Ireland’s leading chefs will feature in demonstrations throughout the weekend with RTE Chef Martin Shanahan from Martin Still Loves Fish on 29th July along with our own Executive Chef John O’Leary and Geert Maes of Gaby’s Seafood restaurant in Killarney. The programme promises to be action packed with something for everyone:
Thursday 28th July, 5pm-8pm: Opening Night, Buy One Get One Free Entry
Friday 29th July, 12noon-8pm: Fishy Friday
Saturday 30th July, 12noon-8pm: Wear A Touch of Pink, Best Dressed Competition 20% entry fee goes to The Marie Keating Breast Cancer Awareness
Sunday 31st July, 12noon – 8pm: Family Day
Tickets cost €5.00 and are available at the gate, children under 12 are free, VIP tickets are available for €20 which also includes access to VIP Suite & Bar, VIP Treats, VIP Goody Bag and Reserved Seating at the Main Stage.
Residents of The Malton will gain complimentary access to the event throughout the weekend and if you are attending the Irish Open you will also receive complimentary access by showing your 2011 Irish Open ticket.
