Our Family Ancestry packages have been designed so that you can enjoy a two-night stay in The Malton with some assistance to help you assemble together the jigsaw pieces of your Irish ancestry.
Our Library includes a Genealogy section stocked with books to help you complete further research, and a computer with a list of helpful websites which you can browse at your leisure.

Two Night's Accommodation, Full Irish Breakfast each morning and Dinner on one evening of your choice in The Garden Room Restaurant.
We take food seriously at The Malton; we even grow our own herbs and vegetables in the gardens of the hotel. Executive Chef John O'Leary uses seasonal herbs and
vegetables in his daily menus. Breakfast at The Malton will set you up for the day ahead; our menu includes a hot breakfast selection served to your
table including the Full Irish and our famous Poached Eggs Malton Style, and a cold buffet selection including cereals, juices,
cheese, cold meat, bread and pastry selections.

Dinner in the Garden Room Restaurant with its great gilded dome ceiling is an elegant dining experience.
Our Table d'hôte menu includes choices on each course. Carefully sourced produce from local suppliers and artisan producers, combined with our own home grown ingredients promises a great South-West dining experience to tantalize your taste buds! Our wine list is extensive, chosen to complement our dinner menus, while our Sommelier will
be only be to happy to provide some suggestions.

Included in your package is a half-day tour with a guide who will bring you to a place of local significance to trace your families'
heritage or simply give you an historic tour of Killarney. In advance of your arrival you may have done some research into your ancestry and wish
to visit a town or village, or perhaps a church or graveyard. Our guide's local knowledge may be of great assistance in helping you piece together the
final details.

To mark the occasion of your visit to trace your family ancestry, we will commission a brass plaque engraved with your family name, and add it to our Gathering Plaque, displayed in the hotel; a symbolic way to commemorate your families' history and to help later generations trace your 2013 visit
to Kerry.
